VC firm Nexus Venture Partners has raised $700 million for its eighth fund, making it one of the largest early-stage investment pools announced this year across India and the United States.
The new fund will support startups from inception to Series A, with a focus on AI-first platforms, enterprise software, fintech, and consumer products. The firm said the capital came primarily from long-standing limited partners who have supported Nexus since its early years.
With this close, Nexus now manages $3.2 billion across vehicles. The firm will continue its cross-border model, operating as a single team across Silicon Valley and India.
The company was founded in 2006, and it has backed more than 130 companies, with over 30 exits, including public listings.
Nexus has a diversified portfolio that includes notable names such as Postman, Zepto, Apollo.io, Infra.Market, Delhivery, Rapido, India Shelter and Firecrawl.
