India’s defence production hit a record ₹1.51 lakh crore in FY25, up 18% YoY and 90% since FY20. DPSUs contributed 77%, while the private sector rose to 23%. Driven by policy reforms and Aatmanirbhar Bharat, exports reached ₹23,622 crore. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hailed it as a sign of a strong industrial base.
