Microsoft announced the restoration of its Azure cloud platform following the disruption caused by multiple subsea cable cuts in the Red Sea

Microsoft’s Azure services are back online after Red Sea cable cuts disrupted connectivity across the Middle East and Asia. Failures in the SMW4 and IMEWE cable systems near Jeddah affected India, Pakistan, and the UAE. Microsoft rerouted traffic to restore continuity and is monitoring routes amid difficult repair conditions in the Red Sea.
