Government backed, Bharat Taxi is set to launch on January 1st, 2026 alternative to Ola and Uber

Delhi introduces Bharat Taxi on January 1st, a cooperative alternative to Ola and Uber. Operated by Sahakar Taxi, the zero-commission app features cars, autos, and bikes. Drivers receive up to 80% of fares. Trials are complete in Delhi with 56,000 drivers and continuing in Rajkot. Surge pricing will be controlled.
