Meta Platforms is leasing a 500-MW hyperscale AI data center in Visakhapatnam, built by Sify Technologies with a ₹15,266 crore investment. This is Meta’s first major data infrastructure lease in India to support AI workloads for the next decade. Part of Andhra Pradesh’s 6 GW data center plan, it aligns with Google and Reliance investments, boosting jobs and connectivity.
