Byju Raveendran filed a $2.5B countersuit against Glas Trust amid a US court dispute over a $1.2B loan. A prior ruling ordered him to pay over $1B for not aiding in tracing $533M from 2021. He claims insufficient time to form a legal team and insists $479.6M went lawfully to Think & Learn Pvt Ltd for acquisitions like Aakash Educational Services. He will appeal.
