Autoliv and Tensor Introduce World’s First Foldable Steering Wheel for autonomous driving

Autoliv and Tensor unveiled a foldable steering wheel for Level 4 autonomous driving at CES. It retracts into the dashboard in autonomous mode for more cabin space, deploys for manual driving, and features dual-mode airbags. Debuting in Tensor’s Robocar in late 2026, produced in Vietnam for US, EU, and Middle East markets.
