Japanese apparel maker D.O.N. has introduced the Vital Belt, a belt-type wearable using millimeter-wave sensing to track respiration, pulse and body movement over clothing. Worn at the waist, it works without skin contact and features a detachable magnetic buckle for charging. Launch planned for 2027, priced at ¥30,000–¥50,000, with a companion app and future health-monitoring applications aimed at aging populations and continuous self-care monitoring worldwide, demand adoption.
