Bengaluru-based voice AI startup Arrowhead has raised $3 million (INR 27 crore) in a seed round led by Stellaris Venture Partners, marking its first major institutional funding since a modest $20K pre-seed. The January 6 announcement comes as the company eyes AI model upgrades, team growth, and deeper penetration into banking, insurance, and fintech sales.
Founded in 2022 by Devyani Gupta (ex-BCG) and Vengadanathan Srinivasan (ex-AWS, Uber, Airbnb), Arrowhead crafts human-like voice agents that handle complex, compliance-heavy calls lasting up to 20 minutes. Supporting Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali, these bots boast 45% higher conversion rates than human reps.
The investor roster packs punch: angels like CRED’s Kunal Shah, M2P Fintech cofounder Madhusudanan R, and execs from Turtlemint and Kissht who double as clients. Arrowhead already powers over 50 BFSI players, including Bank of Baroda Cards, Aditya Birla Capital, Paytm, Turtlemint, Kissht, and InsuranceDekho. Live in India and Southeast Asia (like Malaysia), it’s plotting Middle East expansion amid 4-5X revenue jumps and flawless POC-to-deployment conversions.
