India’s markets watchdog is intensifying its crackdown on unregistered financial influencers, ordering nearly 100,000 videos with unauthorized stock tips removed amid a boom in social media–driven trading. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) says the campaign aims to curb a surge of unverified investment advice rapidly spreading across major online platforms and reaching inexperienced retail investors.
