Anthropic Launches ‘Cowork’ to Make Claude Useful Beyond Coding

Anthropic is expanding Claude AI with Cowork, a no-code automation feature for non-technical users. Available only in the Claude macOS app as a research preview for Claude Max subscribers priced between $100 and $200 per month, Cowork accesses designated folders to create, edit, and organize files, shifting Claude from coding companion to everyday productivity assistant.
