Raana Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd. (RSPL) secured $3 million in seed funding led by Equirus Innovatex Fund and Artha Venture Fund, with participation from IvyCap Ventures among others. This investment will accelerate R&D and product development of indigenous Czochralski (CZ) silicon ingot growth systems. Initially focusing on 10–12 inch solar-grade silicon ingots, RSPL aims for semiconductor-grade wafers. They provide turnkey silicon ingot growth systems, collaborating with institutions like BARC and IGCAR, and have Rs 12 crore in confirmed orders for FY26. Commercialization of solar-grade CZ systems is planned within 18 months.
