Razorpay, NPCI & OpenAI collabrate for Agentic Payments in India

Razorpay, NPCI, and OpenAI launched Agentic Payments pilot, integrating conversational AI with UPI for seamless transactions within ChatGPT. Users can shop on BigBasket, compare prices, and pay via UPI in-chat. Powered by UPI Circle and Reserve Pay with Axis Bank and Airtel Payments Bank, transactions are user-controlled and revocable. Currently limited to select partners, expansion depends on pilot results and regulatory approvals.
