Microsoft issues emergency update for Windows 11 login failures

Microsoft issued emergency update KB5070773 to fix a Windows 11 bug that disabled USB keyboards and mice in WinRE after update KB5066835. The flaw made recovery tools unusable during boot failures. The patch restores USB input for versions 24H2 and 25H2. Users should install it via Windows Update or use touchscreens, PS/2 devices, or USB recovery media temporarily.
