Anthropic Integrates Claude into Excel to Transform Financial Analysis

Anthropic has introduced Claude for Excel, enhancing financial analysis with real-time data integrations from Aiera, LSEG, Moody’s, and Egnyte. In beta, Claude analyzes workbooks, fixes formulas, and builds models directly in Excel, complementing its Microsoft Copilot integration. About 1,000 users will test the add-in, featuring six new Agent Skills for DCF modeling, due diligence, and profiling. Sonnet 4.5 scored 55.3% on Vals AI’s Finance benchmark.
