AI-driven sourcing platform Zinit has raised $8 million in seed funding led by AltaIR Capital, valuing the company at $48 million. The round also saw participation from DVC, an investor known for backing AI-led companies such as Perplexity. DVC will also support Zinit with strategic guidance on its AI roadmap.
With the fresh capital, Zinit plans to accelerate product development and expand globally, with a strong focus on India, one of the world’s fastest-growing procurement and digital transformation markets.
To lead its India push, the company has appointed Naveen Suri as Regional Director. Suri brings over 25 years of expertise in enterprise sourcing and previously led EY’s SAP Ariba practice in India.
Suri said India is entering a phase where enterprises are shifting from basic digitization to intelligent automation and demand faster ROI from technology investments. He added that Zinit’s automated supplier discovery and cost-saving model aligns well with this shift.
Zinit’s procurement-as-a-service platform enables companies to automate sourcing workflows, run competitive bids, and generate RFPs using AI without long onboarding cycles or heavy system integrations.
The company currently operates in five countries, serves more than 100 enterprise clients, and works with a network of over 100,000 suppliers.
Co-Founder and CEO Anton Buzdalin said the funding will help scale faster in high-growth regions like India and deepen capabilities across the AI-led procurement stack.
