Ola Foods Pauses Operations Once More, Marking a Fourth Failed Foray Into Food Delivery

Ola Consumer has paused Ola Foods, withdrawing the service from ONDC and its main ride-hailing app after a rapid December 2024 rollout to 100 cities. Despite offers of up to 50% savings and its 10-minute Dash delivery in Bengaluru, this marks Ola’s fourth failed food delivery play since 2015, following Ola Cafe, Foodpanda India and Ola Dash.
