By 2030, IBM plans to skill five million individuals in India across AI, cybersecurity, and quantum computing. The initiative, part of IBM’s SkillsBuild program, targets students and adult learners within schools, universities, and vocational programs. The company will collaborate with academic institutions like AICTE. Focus areas include employability, AI education, and computational thinking through curriculum, hackathons, and internships. IBM is co-developing AI curricula and teaching resources.
