Whizzo, a technical textiles manufacturer, secured $15 million in Series A funding led by Fundamentum, with participation from LB Investment, Lightspeed and BEENEXT. Founded in 2024 by Shrestha Kukreja, the funds will boost R&D in materials science and strengthen its supply chain across India, Vietnam, China, Bangladesh, and Indonesia. Whizzo integrates R&D, prototyping, and manufacturing, partnering with over 120 SMEs, exporting to 15+ countries. The company will expand to 30+ export markets and invest in upstream IP. The Indian technical textiles market is projected to reach $28 billion by 2030.
